Guidelines for auditions/samples:

These guidelines are designed to ensure a safe and comfortable audition process for actors. All actors should be given due respect and dignity during the audition process and the process should be free from discrimination, harassment or any form of inappropriate behaviour. The audition process must also take place in an appropriate venue. Auditions should not be filmed without the artiste's consent:

  1. The artiste shall not be required to undress, in whole or in part, to be interviewed for a role, regardless of the characterisation of the role.
  2. The artiste shall not be required to perform simulated sexual acts as part of the audition.
  3. In the case of auditions where naked or semi-nakedness is expected, only the required individuals should be present. Artists should contact us if they have any doubts about the reliability of the process or if they have questions about its legality.
